I have many years of experience representing individuals who have been injured, either as a result of a traumatic or occupational injury, in the workplace. All workers in New Jersey are covered by the New Jersey Workers’ Compensation Act, codified at N.J.S.A. 34:15-7 et seq. Except in special situations where an employer intentionally injures an employee, workers’ compensation is an exclusive remedy–this means that an injured worker may not bring a civil action against his employer. Thus, the only remedy against the employer is through workers’ compensation.
In my practice I have been able to obtain optimum results for my clients, including necessary medical treatment and cash payments in the form of temporary and permanent disability benefits.
